Hi,
I am printing a head line in my form which need be underlined. I have tried it with UNDELINED Paragraph Format as well as Underlined Character Format (with STYLE). Every time it gives the preview fine. But while taking printing the underline is not coming at the below of SPACE.
I want: HEADING LINE
Its printing: *HEADING LINE*
Any advice please.
Thanks
Roy
Hi Roy,
For this problem where the spaces are not underlined, you should set the parameter 'print_spaces' to '1' in the registry of the PC as described in the SAP Note 1149136.

Aidan

to get the continous underline design a template around it and put the lower border for that template

I wrote the text in LINE EDITOR and given the space as usual by pressing SAPCE-BAR. And the Underline is showing fine in print preview.
I took the print via LOCL and then my workstation's installed printer. Not SAP installed printer.

Roy, try as suggested by Lokewara (print to other printers).
Could you try entering <32> and see if it's underlined? (that's a quick test)
You may also test that: if it's a network printer, could you ask your admin to define a new output device? (because it avoids the SAPLPD/Windows intermediate processing)
And try as somebody suggested: try with common fonts (Courier for example).
it seems that the issue may be resolved by changing to another font -> [search SDN|http://forums.sdn.sap.com/search.jspa?threadID=&q=space+underline&objID=f231&dateRange=all&numResults=30&rankBy=10001]
By the way, is it possible that your space is not really a space <32>, and so this special blank may not exist as underlined special blank? Moreover, do you print via frontend printing (LOCL), or do you use a printer defined in SAP?
