Hi All
When we create message types in folder they wont be visible in the list while making selection in message mapping.
Can anyone provide the reason for this.
Is this a bug in 7.1 or anything else.
Hi Osman,
Even I have faced the same issue, its resolved by editing EDIT Authorization opiton of folder.
Folder => right click => Edit authorizations => Add the user with username (same user which ur using to access the ESR) and add authorizations "write, edit authorizations" and save it. Now you will be able to access. Kindly perform and let me know.
Expecting this willbe helpful.
Thanks,
RJ

That is the functionality....folders hide data from direct view
Message Mapping --> Signature --> now using the input help select the message types....they are visible there.

I have never noticed before.
I consider it as bug, developers should be informed

Here you get only message types from same swcv, this is not useful.
Then my mistake of naming it as a functionality!
Actually this is the second question that I am seeing on SDN in this regards.....one was long back in last year and then this.
Before the answering the first one even i was not sure how to procedd with this bug.....tried in IR and then came to the conclusion on how it can be resolved.
Will be really great if the developers get it fixed
Thanks,
Abhishek.
