Project Progress

Dear All,

In continuation to earlier question, requirement is to get progress from Project system.

What measurement method we shopuld suggest?

You can use Progress report CNE5 , for data to be populated in CNE5 , you will have to run CNE1.

for both these reports populate the progres method at the WBS/ACTIVITY level.

You may use CNPAWB (progress analysis workbench) to monitor the progress.

Forecast workbench is only available in ECC6.0 enhancement pack 3+ (could be 4 just check)

Thanks for the link..

But I am not able to understand how/ what reports will be drawn for progress.

1.0 I have done automatic scheduling of Activities.

2.0 Actual dates from Activity are extrapolated to WBS Basic dates.

Now user wants report for progress.

You need to first understand what the user means by progress, then search for the suitable functionality map in SAP PS which could be obtained from standard reporting or using Project Progress functionality

Hi Virendra,

The requirement is they want to get Planned Vs Actual in terms of time. ( not cost).

They will input duration/relationssships on Activities. Scheduling will be carried out.

The activity confirmation will be done.

We had suggested Estimation Method but they want progress from SAP activities.

Why don't you use the CN47N report

When doing confirmation if you enter the forecast dates to complete and the estimated work left then you will get a good picture of the progress based on time
