Error AW507

Hello Asset Accounting Experts,

I am getting the below error while doing the Asset Under Construction settlement in AIAB transaction.

Data for determination of capitalization not managed in area 01 Message no. AW507

Kindly advise me how to fix this Issue...

Hi Kumar,

Please check the field T082AVIEWB-AUTHORITY. If it is not on 2 this

is the reason.

In this case, you can change the value in T093-VIEW1 using the coding as

per SAP note 29706 which you have already discovered. There will be no

risk involved in changing this value.

Hi,

I had the same issue today. If you are doing settlement for AuC like me, you will notice about Addit. area input in AIAB. Leave it blank, your issue will go away.

Thanks for your immediate response towards the issue, see as you have suggested me to leave the Addtil. area field blank, i tried that way but it was not helped me to resolve the issue.

do u have any other thought about this issue which may be helpful to resolve it.

Check what transaction types (TTy) are being used for effecting the settlement of the AUC. The TTy used for the receiving asset should have the 'Capitalize fixed asset' check box checked.

Are you talking abt in Asset master we have a chk box "Capitalize fixed asset" or somewhere else ?
