explicit host for BSI tax factory

Wondering if anyone has a solution on the explicit host access to tf80server, or any OS level program.

I have installed BSI u2013DB and server on host1, which has SAP application. And on host2, it has HR/Payroll. I want to access host1u2019s /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run tf80server.csh from host2.

The RFC I have created on host1, BSI80-US-TAX, has activation type u201CStart on Application Serveru201D, and test connection indicates successful connection.

The RFC I have created on host2, BSI80-US-TAX, has activation type u201CStart on Explicit Hostu201D, with Program u201C/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/tf80server.cshu201D and target host of u201Chost1u201D, and the test connection errors with u2013 u201Cno connect of TP /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/tf80server.csh from host <host1>.u201D

Both RFC setup are identical, besides the indicated activation type.

The error makes sense as host2 can reach into host1 on the SAP level, but u201Cshould notu201D be allowed to execute host1 OS level program. The gateway trace indicates proper connection. I have run rfcexec to register tf80server in host1, and validated the program via SMGW.

Any suggestion of a solution. The planned workaround would be to install BSI onto host2.
