Hello all,

For a customer requirement in a smarform I need a design with variant information as well as graphic stored in article master data; the content of the print form shall be the following:

_________________________________________________
| |___|________________________|
| |___|_________|__X_|_XL_|_XXL|
| |___|_blue____|_23_|_4__|_5__|
| |___|_green___|_11_|_3__|_2__|
| GRAPHIC OBJECT |___|_red_____|_12_|_8__|_8__|
| |___|_________|____|____|____|
| | |
| | |
|________________________________________________|

Here, I need different areas one for dynamical graphical object one for the matrix for the content of the variant information.

I tried to create it, but using templates it is not possible to set up different field sizes.

Is it possible to create such a layout using templates or tables?

How can I embed graphical objects using URL?

(the graphical objects are stored in the material master where can be reached by an URL)

Thank you for your information in advance.

Best regards,

Kurt.

I don't see what is exactly variable: number of rows and columns in the right pane? size of the graphic? etc.

Anyway, smart forms often don't accept anything variable, except main window and line height. You may use Interactive Forms by Adobe to do complex things.

For printing graphics, the only possibility is to upload them to SE78 first I think. You may do it programmatically, several threads discussed of it ([this one for example|😉 but I never saw any snippet. You may also probably include an image using a text with HEX...ENDHEX commands (same as storage of TIFF images in sapscript texts, via SE78), but I don't know it could be achieved.
