DOI process not working when importing contact data

Hi

I have crated a confirmation email via content studio and released this conformation email in the "Activate Confirmation" app.

After import specific newsletter subscription data using the OData interface, the contact did not receive the confirmation email. The field IsConfirmationRequired is defined as true. Regarding the documentation, the DOI process should be triggered based on this setting.

Is there anything else, I need to activate to ensure, that the confirmation email will be send to imported contacts?
