Can you create a lead or opportunity outside C4C?

Hi there,

We have a business case where the business is looking to see if a certain group of users can be restricted to a very simple, narrow set of tasks in C4C by potentially calling an API of some sorts?

If so, how will they authenticate to the system? Will they require a valid business user (unlocked) to be able to make such a call?

We would plan on developing a very simple Fiori UI that then calls the API, thus the user will not have to go into the actual C4C system

Has anyone done this before and how did you do it?

Though I am not aware of the specifics, you will be able to do it through the Odata API.
