Hi gurus,
I have an unexpected behaviour for a custom document in GTS (outbound delivery).
When Legal control takes place, "Display logs" shows that document document is blocked regarding to legal regulation EAR although a valid license has been found under license type US48B.
Question: why does the system set "Check regulation control EAR" to RED, although one license has already been found and assigned? Thanks Jon.
Hello Jon.
This actually is a known usability issue, there is a problem in the application log display, currently the system's behavior is if there is no license determined for any license type in one legal regulation, it will mark this legal regulation as 'RED', as what you see for legal regulation 'EAR' in your case.
In your case, if you check the legal control status for the item, it is actually 'Released'.
It doesn't affect anything, but does bring confusion to the user. Probably you could first check the ITEM STATUS, and then look for the log in which the status is 'BLOCKED'.
Regards,
Derek

Hello Dean,
1) review license determination rules in which way? what could be missing or wrong in determination rules?
2) please find enclosed log expanded for both license types VL and US48B. what do you think?

Hello Jonathan,
Two questions: 1) did you review your license detrmination rules?
2) did you expand the log on US48B? Could be something there.
Regards, Dean.
