In my ECC Source System ->SE16 ->table RSBASIDOC, I can see that I have a entry where field SLOGSYS is my ECC Logical System Name assigned, and field RLOGSYS is my BW Logical System Name assigned.

1) Do you know how this entry is generated?

2) Why do we need to have this entry?

3) What is the field TSPREFIX is about?

Kindly advise, thank you in advance.

    1. Entries in table RSBASIDOC is generating while source system is being connected into BW or during Restore or Replicate DS operations.

    2. Basically table is describing an assignment of source systems (and its clients) to BW system. This includes what IDoc types are used for data transfer, what version of source system is in place (in case of SAP ECC sys), who changed it last time.

    3. Field TSPREFIX depicts 2 chars prefix for all transfer structures for particular source system. All transfer structure belonging to this source system have a such prefix - see table RSTSRULES.

    Hope this is clear to you now.

      Thanks for explanation, that really make sense.

      Now I try to create the Transport for Source Ssytem related objects.

      In RSA1 ->Transport Connection:

      1) I have select the Grouping ->Save for System Copy.

      2) Edit ->Source System Assignment, I have selected the Source System that I want.

      What are next steps in order to collect all the Source System related object to the Transport?

      Please help.
