Publish query to role

Hi community,

When working on a query via HANA Studio on a S4HANA 1610, the button to publish that query to a role is always grey and we can't push the button. This, for all the queries in the system, and I have SAP_ALL security profile.

Do you have any idea why ?

But when I am opening the same query via the BEx query designer, I am well able to do so.

Another thing, when I am modifying the link via PFCG transaction to put another query, it does not update the link when opening via Analysis or RSRT. For instance I have a shortcut to access ZCOPA_Q001, when I change it for ZCOPA_Q002 in PFCG transaction, it does not update the link when accessing via AO or RSRT transaction.

Ideally, I would like to create new links which will help us to go on specific CDS Views of type Query/Consumption.

Does someone already try that kind of scenario and would be able to help us ?

for the 'publish to role' problem please, implement: SAP Note 2425494 - BW-MT: Query Designer Corrections - 02/2017 2

The correction of this SAP Note should be implemented and the frontend version needs to be higher then described in note.
