Cost Center Deletion not possible

Hi,

I need to delete a cost center. however, in KS04, a message says that the "Deletion is not possible" (usage in table T811C - which is cycles in overhead cost controlling or PA). The cost center is just created, therefore not defined anywhere manually. Any advise how to remove the default configuration so that I can delete the cost center?

Hi，

It's perhaps the cost center created is assigned a cost center group which is used in OH cycle or PA cycle. If so, you need to remove cost center from the cost center group via t-code: KSH2, and then you can delete the cost center.

Hi,

This cost center was created in the standard hierarchy and therefore deletion was not possible from KSH2. From the Environment - where used list in the cost center master, found the cycle where it was used. A particular cost center group was assigned to these cycles. Looking at this cost center group in KSH2, a selection variant was assigned for the same - and that was the reason!!!! Deleted the cost center now.

Hi,

Goto SE16 and enter table T118C, check whether any cycle exist and find whether that particular cost center is assigned to any of the cycle.
