SAC - Change Data Model Connection from Imported to Live / Replace Data Source

Hi Folks,

we are looking at using SAP Analytics Cloud for some BW reporting. Right now our BW release will support only import connection. However, later we would like to switch to Live Connection (to eliminate the import process).

Is this switch possible?

From what I see it is not possible to switch the connection for an model but we need to create a new model based on the live connection. But then we also need to rebuild the stories as a switch of the data model/replacement for storie elements seems also not possible.,Am I am right? Or is there a way doing it?

If the data source replacement is currently not possible is it planned to have such functionality in the future (e.g. in WebI you got a pretty good way handling a data source replacement inkl. data element remapping).
