Hi,

"UNABLE TO CONNECT TO DBMS" Means that you have not specified correct parameters to connect to database or missing some database settings.

Please let us know which version of MDM and Database you are using. This will help to debug things.

Hi,

It seems like you need to connect MDM server with DBMS server. Every MDM server has underlying DBMS server (Sql, DB2, Oracle) etc.

These settings are relevant to a particular DBMS Server, and are the same for any MDM Server that accesses it and for all repositories mounted on it.

For more details refer page no 234 to 242.

Kindly let us know if you still face any issue.

Hi,

Have you installed the database? First you need to install the database and then the server and the gui clients. Once it is done give the appropriate database parameters.

Hi,

SLD error comes if the MDM server is not being able to register in SAP system directory. Check the credentials, the versions (GUI and the server can be of different versions). Check these two points, if not done please let us know.
