ERP Transportation planning with EWM

Hi All,

System is S4 HANA 1709 , Embedded EWM.

Scenario here is ERP Transportation planning with EWM TU's.

Do we have any document which explains this process?

1. Do we need the set up of IDOC communication between SAP ERP and SAP EWM for sending and receiving SHPMNT and TPSSHT IDOC?

Done settings described in "Integration of ERP Shipments in Shipping and Receiving" except IDOC communication set up.

Also done settings described in "Setting Up the Creation of Vehicles and Transportation Units".

We need only TU, no Vehicle.

We have shipment created with HU .

But still TU's are not getting created in EWM after shipment creation S4 HANA.

Please advice, if anything more required or what I setting I might be missing?

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi,

For shipment you did not define packing material, paciking material category (A means of transport) and packing material types.In idoc configuraiton, you will define for this for shipments.

Also you will check SLG1 errors when you will send output message from VT70.

So this means, for Embedded EWM (S4 HANA 1709), IDOCs required for shipments to EWM?

Just double checking, because it is Embedded EWM.
