Costing and ML run in Closing cockpit

Hi Gurus,

We are about to use the closing cockpit for our month end transactions. I just want to know that, how we can schedule such transactions like costing run & ML run without the variants in the closing cockpit? And also, I would like to know the types of month end transactions that can be scheduled in closing cockpit as program wise & transaction wise (without variants).

Hello,

You can enter any program or transactions in the Closing cockpit.

If you don't want to use variants the steps are:

1 Launch your transaction or program without variant from the task list of the Closing cockpit.

2 The transaction or program screen will open.

3 Select your data. Perform your task, save.

4 The Closing cockpit will re-open automatically where you left it. The status of the task is set up automatically (success, fail) (except for task that are Notes and not Transactions or Programs).

Now the advantage of maintaining a task as a program with variant is that you only need to click once on the task to perform it.

All selection data are taken automatically.

In you case for Costing run or ML period-end tasks, as it is quiet tricky, I would recommend to maintain task as transactions.
