We are having issues with printing reports in InfoView. Sometimes it asks us to install the activex print control if we log onto that machine as the administrator. Is there an exe of the print control that can be installed instead of waiting to be prompted to install it? It does not prompt to be installed on every computer. Also some users where the print control load internet explorer immediately gets an error and when you hit ok it closes. Please advise.
This may not be the answer you are looking for, but I ran into the same issue with the ActiveX control. I got around the issue by setting the report default settings to "Always Print to PDF" under Print Settings. This forces the report to be loaded in Adobe Reader. This seems to work reliably.
I am having a similar issue. On one user's machine, print control window opens as if it is going to print, but then it stalls and we don't even get an error message. Did you find a way to resolve this by chance?
