MRP Live on S/4 Hana, reschedule out indication

Hi!

On S/4 Hana using MRP live, is there any way to identify Receipt elements that need to be cancelled (exception message 20) or rescheduled out ( msg 15). I know i can use the old classic way of md04 or md07, but is there any native fiori app, CDS or something else I can use to show this info in a dynamic tile. All tips are welcome!

Hello Stefan

The new MRP cockpit fiori apps were designed based on the shortage concept, so they don't really bring information about exception messages. Also, MRP Live won't generate the MRP List, so the exception messages won't be stored in any table.

If you still want to see exception messages, then you need to keep using transaction MD04 and if you need them in a custom report, you have BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST.

Thank you for the quick clear answer Caetano. I guess, the exception messages are not important in themselves, but on a operative level our customers often want to work to avoid overstock, so it would be nice with some Fiori based tool that would indicate that one needs to take action. The Inventory Turnover Analysis app gives this info on a tactical level and points at where planning parameters or the business setup might need adjustment. The BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST does a nice job to provide the data, but is there any good way to serve this data to a fiori app ("create KPI" or similar) or plans of a CDS that would do the same thing?

Hello Klotz,

Did you solve it by yourself?

I also want to know whether there is any Fiori native app to replace MD04 with or not.

Best Regards,
