Trying to Create a Company Code

Dear Friends,

I am trying to create a company code. Note that I am copying an existing code and edit the copied Company code to my new company GR##. However the system is not allowing to go forward smoothly and showing information "There are inconsistencies in Ledger 8A (Profit Center Accounting).

Please let me know how i can tackle this issue so that I can move ahead with future transactions without hassles.

Hello,

Regarding the message FC158, you have to maintain the relationship between company code and controlling area.

Go to SPRO -> Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Controlling -> Assign company code to controlling area.

You cannot post any FI document without controlling area assignment.

Also take into account that unfortunately it cannot be copied all company code information.

Check the SAP note 213316 too.
