Hi,

KEI2: define transfer structure

OKB9: add cost elements to be transferred to CO-PA.

Only G/L accounts with cost elements can be transferred to COPA from MM.

Hi,

To add to what Christian has mentioned:

Possible scenarios from MM to CO-PA:

1. Purchase price variance, posted during invoice verification. Happens mostly when material is at 'S' and also when at 'V', when there is not enough stock to absorb the price difference. You need to maintain PA transfer structure 'FI' in KEI1 to flow values to CO-PA from MM.

2. Physical inventory differences: Again these differences can be posted to CO-PA through PA transfer structure maintained in KEI1.

3. Scrap postings : Same PA transfer structure.

If you have any other scenarios, which you want to post to CO-PA, maintain source/Value field assignment in KEI1.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

which MM values do you mean exactly?

The only CO-PA direct posting I know (from MM to CO-PA) is if there are price differences during MIRO posting for material with price control "S" and the price difference accounts are routed to CO-PA (and not to a cost center,...). A MM consumption posting is posted assigned to a CO-object (cost center, internal order, WBS element,...) and only after settlement of the CO-object balance this values CAN be posted in CO-PA.

Best regards, Christian

Hi

What is use of configuration "Assign MM Condition type to COPA Value field" tcode KE4IM ? I appreciate clarity on usage of this configuration. If I have to use PA Transfer structure to flow MM values to COPA, then what is need of KE4IM ??

In PO Cycle, I want consumption/expense account posting at time of GR to flow to COPA. I also want price difference to update COPA.

Can't I post above postings to COPA ??

Regards

Kapil
