usually in any orgnaization, we can have any number of plng applications like sales plan,purchase plan, cost centre plan,invest plan, stocks etc..Is it necesary that each plng application, what we desigend must be linked with other plng application(s) in order to have integrated one? Is users asks plan for isolated area, which not at all connect to other areas?
Bu it may be necesary to have any shared fields within those applications for further reporting.
Lets say you have budget plannig application and sales planning application. It is possible to plan as standalone, but may be principals level will want to see any report (lets say planned budget vs planned sales).
For this purpose you should design 2 your applications so they will have any shared fileds for further connections (lets say in multi cubes).
