Hello Experts,
How can we get to know whether cloud connector is installed in on premise system or not.? which config i should be look into to know more details . I am not looking for a local cloud connector(https://localhost:8443/)
Thanks
Hi Pawan
The SAP Cloud Connector is used to connect SAP Cloud Platform accounts with onPremise systems.
A good way to see if you have any cloud connector running, is to look into your SAP Cloud Platform account, under Connectivity -> Cloud Connectors. There you will be able to see if you have installed and configured a cloud connector for your SCP account.
If your S/4 HANA is a cloud one, you should have a cloud connector hosted by SAP (HEC). If you don't know or don't remember, you can open a incident under BC-MID-SCC asking for assistance.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Augusto

Hi augusto.ferreira ,
Thanks for your reply... Yeah, I knew , that we can get to know by looking into SAP Cloud platform account, under connectivity tab.
But I would like to see and understand this thing by checking SAP GUI . I wanted to understand, is there any transaction/place in SAP GUI where i can check and see the configurations.
Earlier,I have connected by onPremise system to Cloud using (https://localhost:8443/) .. But this is done by me locally . What if i wanted to achieve the same on onPremise system(example : a4h System).
If i have done this locally using (https://localhost:8443/) my password, others will not know the details and in future , if i am not in company and if someone has to adapt cloud connector settings, how they will do ..
Hi Pawan
The cloud connector should be installed in a machine inside your corporate network.
You should be able to connect to it using a hostname inside your network.
The user/password you can use the default one "Administrator", or you can enable the LDAP settings, so you can have more users.
But there is no transaction in the ABAP or S/4hana that check if there is a SCC in the network.
So, for the future colleagues, it is best for you to create a wiki page, with the scc location and user/password for it.
Thanks,
Augusto
