MRP restriction

Dear all

Can we exclude storage Location from MRP from planning. and can we restrict the shipping of that goods if stock is at that particulor storage location even though stock is in unrestricted use

Pravin,

A common way to exclude material from BOTH MRP planning AND shipping is to move the material to Blocked Stock.

HI

You can check the same by moving the material to blocked stock and in OPPQ under the Available stock deselect the

Blocked stock check box.

Dear Pravin,

1) At material level, you can go to MRP - 4 view & maintain value as 1 for storage location

2) At plant level go to OMIR t-code and maintain value as1 for required storage location

3) then Run MRP, system will not consider the stock for that particular storage location

You can exlude the storage location from MRP run using t code MMSC for the material and MRP indicator 1 and t code OMIR for that storage location in SPRO
