Gross requirement planning

Dear All,

WE are using IS retail

here we are implementing PP module.

we have tried strategy 11 & mixed MRP indicator 2 for all finished and semi finished materials .as system should not check the stock and during MRP it should generate planned orders for all down level materials

But in our case system taking stock in to consideration and generates planned orders for remaining qty only.

so how to do setting for this

which strategy type should be used for finished and semi finished material so that system will not check stock

Hi,

Pls check whether u have maintained the Max lot size or Max stock levels or any such limitations since Strategy group 11 should help you out

Hi Sunil,

Check whether you have maintained the following master data for the finished product:

Maintain strategy group 11 on the MRP screen.

Set the Mixed MRP indicator to 2 on the MRP screen.

Maintain the item category group (for example, NORM) on the Sales Organization screen.

Maintain the Availability check field so that you perform an availability check without the replenishment lead time (checking group 02 in the standard system).

Requirements type BSF while maintaining PIR in MD61

in the gross requirement planning stock doesnt take into consideration as you done setting in material master, please check requirement class of strategy 11 somebody may have change setting in configuration
