Custom tab in screen personas

Is it possible to add Custom tab in VA01 transaction code using Screen Personas. I have to build custom tab to include custom fields in sales order screen.

Can we achieve using Screen Personas?

Hi Vicky,

If the tab exists in VA01, you can simplify the screen with SAP Screen Personas, either by removing items you do not want to see or by combining information from multiple tabs into a single screen.

If you want to add a custom tab or custom fields to your transaction, you will need to use the extension capabilities that SAP provides for customizing transactions. Then SAP Screen Personas can modify the user experience or screen layout.

Actually, it turns out eedens already wrote a blog post a few years ago about the way to implement your own custom tabs: https://blogs.sap.com/2020/08/21/simple-tabs-in-personas/

Personas doesn't offer a custom tab control, so there is not an out of the box solution to add such an object to your flavor. I can imagine that you could construct a tab strip using simple containers, script buttons (for tab selection scripts) and whatever else you may need though.
