SAP installation check procedure?

Hello,

There were some troubles during the installation SAP ERP. Finally we installed SAP ERP 6.0 system successfully.

Now our customer insists on demonstrating that the installation was performed correctly and the system works accordingly.

Das the standard SAP ERP installation check procedure exist?

As long as pre and post installation steps where in place and whatever issue you had was localized and had a proper fix I wouldn't doubt the installation...

Hi Igor,

Run the transaction SM28. If the screen with "no errors reported" comes up, that indicates no trouble in the SAP installation and is performed correctly.

Regarding the querry that system works accordingly, it depends on customer what does he mean by system works accordingly.

1) Do You mean SM28 is unambiguous and sufficient tools to check sap installation?

2) By the way as I understand SM28 is ABAP check. What about JAVA-part check?

As per my knowledge SM28 is the unambiguous and sufficient way to installation check. I don't have any idea on java part.
