Field label change on CRM webUI

Hi,

I have requirement like this..

I was asked to change the field label for (standard) data element for a condition "customer" in Agreement in CRM. I did changes to field label for data element ( changed from sold-to party to Customer/SP/SH).This changes reflected in sap R/3 ( in CRMD_ORDER) but it is not changed in web UI.

Please let me know where i need to change in BSP and what are the steps. I checked and see the BSP page as "crm_ui_frame".

Thanks

Ashu

    Hi,

Identify the BSP component/View Press F2 after clicking on the column in your case or any other open field in the same view). Open the component in workbench using transaction "BSP_WD_CMPWB', go to the desired view and in the right pane, click on configuration tab. It may contain only a standard default or different custom configurations based on user roles, component usages, ui objects.. . Choose the correct configuration and change the label of the desired field/column.

    Hi Ashu,

For this purpose you can use Design Layer (SPRO) Concept as well.

    Hi Ashu,

The best instructions I've come across are in a youtube video. They are using CRM 7 but the process should be somewhat similar for most versions.

    Hope this helps.
