new countries for selected year

Hi all,

I need to show new countries for selected year in a report.

Selected year (Example:2018) : Germany, Holland, France, US

one year before of selected year (for 2018, it is 2017): Germany, Holland, Turkey

New Countries are France and US for 2018.

Query will be created on Hana Studio.

How can I do this ?

Do countries are concatenated into single value or are they displayed in multiple rows?

Hi Konrad,

Countries are displayed in multiple row in DSO. Each transaction has a single country name.

Hi,

I will add a YEAR infoobject as an attribute of COUNTRY masterdata. Then I will load the ADSO which contains the transaction data to your COUNTRY masterdata. In the transformation, I will create a routine so I can load only the LOWEST value of YEAR from ADSO. With this, I will have the year when the COUNTRY had its first transaction.

In the query you can already filter the COUNTRY with 2018 value of YEAR.

Hi,

How about adding an attribute to your COUNTRY object which will state what year the country was created or has a transaction? With this, you can already filter the list of countries in 2018. If this is not possible, please state why not so we can give another approach.

Thanks for your comment. There is a transaction about year. Unfortunately if I filter 2018, countries which are created in both years(2018 and 2017), also will appeared on report. I need to show difference between two years for only new countries on 2018.
