Maintenance Plan is Master Data or Transactional Data

Hello Friends,

Can anyone make me clear that Maintenance Plan is master data or Transactional Data because on some sources of information of SAP it is showing that its a Master data.

So its creating lot of confusion.

So how to proceed further on this because at some places it is showing Master Data and at some place it is showing Transactional Data.

Hi,

In plant maintenance, both the equipment master and maintenance plans are the master data while the notifications and orders are the transactional data.

We do not change the equipment master and maintenance plans frequently but we do deal with the notifications and orders in a daily basis.

I'm not sure where you are seeing a maintenance plan described as transactional data, but in my mind it is definitely master data.
