1.PS Order is Network - Order Category 20 : Very Strong in Scheduling in all the orders; because any project toll should be goo in two are Scheduling and Costing.

- Structure of Network : 1.Netwok Header , 1.1 Network activity 1.1.1 Network Activity Element

- Structure of PM Order : 1.Order Header, 1.1 Operation, 1.1.1 Task list

In PS Both Network header or Network Task list can become cost object ( Based on config. )

Via Assembly processing Network can create Project from Sales order.

Milestone is another PS Objects which can be assigned to network.

SAP perspective both are order of diff. order category so, few funcationality & Config. are similar like as conformation.

2. Please explain activity based costing and how it relates to Project System.

There is nothing like its only related to PS, it across SAP, ABC is primarily concept of CO which tell you instead of applying overhead based on Location in traditional cost center accounting, Process quantity based overhead.

Thanks for your answer Nitin. Do you know what is the advantage of using PS order over PM order?

Both are designed to address diff. business requirements. Both have different sort of system status. So, directly we cannot compare.

Standard Network ( Template ) is configurable object. Apart from that It can be used in assembly processing. Network is the only order in which there is option of header assigned / activity assigned.

However PM Order can be budget not network.

This is indirect comparison.
