Hi;
There are a few types of routing types in SAP
1.Reference operation set
2.Routing
3.Rate Routing.
What are the main differences between them?

Reference operation sef is a template, you will create thru transaction CA11, in general you can call this when ever it is necessary.
For discrete manufacturing we use routing
For Repetitive manufacturing we use Rate routing, we create thru CA21, i.e if the same procedure of manufacturing without much changes in a period of time
Ref Rate Routing is similar to Reference operation sef, we create thru CA31 for Repetitive manufacturing only
