I have installed SAP B1 HANA version on Linux server running SUSE (SLES FOR SAP). We have 11 users.
I have been told we would also require Windows server will be required to install crystal reports and few other components of SAP B1 hana.
i want to ask if follow specification of my old windows server are enough to get the best performance of SAP B1 HANA.
My windows server specification
INTEL XEON CPU E3-1220 V3@3.1GHZ
RAM 12 GB
operating system : Windows Server 2008 R2 STANDARD
Will this low specification of my windows server cause any performance issues in any of SAP B1 Hana components??
Hi Hussain.
The main reason is that the Windows 2008 R2 standard end of extended support on 14/01/2020. within an year you may need to either migration or upgrade the existing OS from windows 2008 R2 to 2012 or 2016.

Hi Hussain.
1. Have you check the SAP PAM about the Windows OS ?
2. Windows 2008 R2 is going to End of Extended Vendor Support on 14/01/2020, better you can use the Windows OS either 2012 or 2016.
refer the SAP Note 1177282.

Sriram
