LTMC : Update existing migrated data

Dear All,

I am facing a huge problem in updating data that i uploaded using LTMC.

I used the programms : DMC_FM_RESTART_HANDLE and DMC_FM_RESTART_COPY_DELETE to update business partner data but i keep getting the error message : Business partner already exists.

I'm asking for your help if u have any ideas about updating those data ?

Hello Sara,

Were you able to resolve your issue? I would like to change the data that I have already uploaded using LTMC. Please let me know if you found a way around to edit the existing migrated data.

Hi Sara.

You can update the data, you will need to create a new migration object. Have in mind that you can mapping any BAPI available in the system as a new migration object.

Just find a BAPI suitable with you requirements and develop a new migration object to update the fields you need to.

Hi Sara,

I tried all the ways, in LTMC not allowing to update the existing data. But we can do in LSMW and MASS, MASSD.

What are the errors have you faced while updating the data.??

What is the business requirement?? Have to update replacing the existing BP Address, Desc, Bank Account like this.. Could you evaporate your questions if possible ??

Thank you for your reply.

Yes i want to replace already existing data or wrong informations that have been uploaded with LTMC with new ones.

The issue that i am facing while updating BP data such as : Bank data, adress or name etc, is when uploading the LTMC file, the system take it for creation a new BP, so when it founds that the N° of BP already exists, i get the error : Business partner already exists.

I hope i made it clearer for you.
