Lifecycle modelling

Hi Folks,

We're currently experiencing a problem in uploading lifecycle profiles. We need to update abt 7000 entries but are now facing long update times of transaction /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST1.

Has anybody faced this before? Did you solve it in another way than using LSMW or custom Z-program?

Hi Arjen,

1) Check whether the lifecycle planning active indicator is set in the

master forecast profile

2) Check the basic settings under lifecycle planning are

maintained with the characteristics

3) Before assigning the lifecycle profiles to planning area, decide on

the characteristic combinations that are to be used for selection

purposes.

4) Check for each of the like profile, check whether the characteristic

combinations already exists or not orelse the system issues error

message
