Cloud Portal - Role Provider SuccessFactors

Hi all,

I have an extension account for developing extension for successfactors. The IdP is of course SuccessFactors.

Everything is working fine.

But when I accessing the portal service as an admin I only have the Role "Everyone" available. Even when successfactors is the IdP and Role Provider of the Portal Service

Adding the SuccessFactors Role manual it is resulting in an error message.

How can I refer to the permission roles form my IdP?

Hi Silvia,

i've asked nearly the same question 3 years ago, to the old version of the cloud portal.(There was only the role "Guests" instead of "Everyone" available). I've got an answer from SAP that it's currently not possible to secure a cloud portal page with a successfactors role, even if successfactors is the role provider of the extension account. I think that behavior has not changed in the new version of the portal
