remove purchase organization

Hi,

We need to remove purchase organization assignment to plant. There already exists PO for this P. Org and Plant combination. Will removal of assigment affect the further processing of already existing documents, for eg. doing MIGO and invoice..

During archiving of purchase orders SAP does some checks. So I could not archive POs when the purchasing group was deleted from customizing. I guess you will face the same problem if you delete the purchasing org.

No , there is no problem in processing. As it is Stock in to plant and Value for the stock.

However if you want to cancel the posted GR receipt doc. it may ask for cost centre posting.

It is not possible to break the assignment between purchase organization and plant, if there are open POs or scheduling agreements exists.
