Hello,
I have a requirement w.r.t Production Orders not to consume BOM components of the Material within the Production Order not to consume the requirements planned for Forecast planned for the period.
Is there is any possibility to exclude the requirements coming from the Production Orders from the Forecast consumption.
Please help on this.
Regards,
Vijaya M
Hello
In your PIR header (MD61/MD62) you have the consumption indicator, where you can choose if the PIR will be consumed by customer requirements only or also by dependent reservations.

BAdI md_pir_flex_cons worked.
Under method if_ex_md_pir_flex_cons~check_pir_cons_reduc, by placing check on field delkz EQ to 'AR' ,consumption of PIR's by Production/Rework Orders is limited.
Still STO's and Customer Orders are consumed from the PIR's.
Thanks Caetano.

In this case, you would have to implement your own logic to restrict the consumption for rework orders using BAdI md_pir_flex_cons

Thanks Caetano, for your answer. That helped me out.
I see Consumption Indicator 4 - is for Flexible consumption, where in Forecast is consumed for all cases.
But I want to limit my consumption only to STO's and no consumption should happen for Production /Rework orders.
None of the consumption modes are helping me to achieve this or limit the consumption to specific elements.
Could you help with?
Thanks.
