FICO - PS Integration

Dear All

I'm in a E2E green filed implementation for a construction Industry. We have a unique reqmt. there are three different activity types for a single activity in PS,we want the costs for all these activity types to be shown as plan. s it possible in SAP. Please let me know.

    Hi Rajaram,

    Yes you can do this by using the activity 'element' functionality.

    In this way a single activity can have 3 different 'resources' or elements...each costed separately.

    Types of activity elements include: internal, external, cost, and service....just as if they were an activity.

    The main difference is the activity elements cannot be separately scheduled.

    They can only be offset to the start or finish date of the activity they are linked to.

      Thanks for your immediate reply. We saw this option aswel. But the problem in this option that we faced is that, the activity has a different unit of measure and the activity types have different unit of measure. so while confirming that activity we have a problem. one more thins is that, in the project we have around 100 activities and for each activity there will be 3 activity elements which will be difficult from PS side to budget and do other things.
