PLD Issue.

Dear All,

My Client has a requirement within the Sales Quotation PLD. Like as in the Sales Quotation my client he has selected a Particular Item. Now this Item is the Parent Item and is defined as a Production BOM. .

Now my client wants the Parent Item and its Component Item to be Printed in the PLD when he just selects the Parent Item in the Sales Quotation.

Please guide me in this regard.

why dont you create some udf to archive the components of you items, this can be filled with some Formated search, this way you can read them from the PLD.

I METHOD

I think you can sort out this problem by writing a query and pull down the relevant information from (production) tables but i think you can't do it in PLD as like doing some small modification as like other PLD's....

This type of sales quotation will occur one are twice in a month

II METHOD

you can use the the field TYPE and insert you child item by keying it in a seperate row...

By this way you can pull down the information in the PLD itself...

( BUT YOU HAVE TO INSERT THE CHILD ITEM IN THE QUATATION NOT FROM THE PRODUCTION TABLES)

Or If your are using crystal report you can do it by hidding the information which is not present...
