Difference between 122 and 161 movement type

Can anyone let me know in details the difference between mov. type 122 and 161 and under what circumstances both are used?

122 Movement happens when material is partially rejected taken for production before invoice verification,You can

directly do return delivery from migo.

Whereas,

161 movment - Returns with reference to purchase order,it will happen after invoice verification when you are returning

material to vendor.

Hi,

Every movement type has it own function. Movement type 122 is used when the material which is issued from unrestricted stock by movement type 101 to the shop floor comes back to the stock

Movement type 161 is basically used for vendor returns. For example you are sending empty printing cartdges back to vendor . This movement type is used in purcahse order in item overview of purcahse order screen.

The empty cartdges are having seperate materila number than filled one which are ordered from vendor by purcahse order. This movement type is set with negative sign in purcahse as it implicates returns and the vendor is invoices is adjusted for the cost of empty catrdges.

Hi,

Movement type 122 is used to return the Goods from Unrestricted stock to vendor

Movement type 161 is used to PO returns.
