Problem while installing Oracle patch 10.2.0.4

Hi All,

We started installing new SAP ERP 6.0 system on AIX 6.1 and we got stuck at installing Oracle patch. We successfully finished Oracle database installation. While running patch its showing the below message

"Oracle Universal Installer has detected that there are processes running in the currently selected Oracle Home. The following processes need to be shutdown before continuing:

java"

If we stop a process running with java, then the installation get cancelled.

We also tried to install patch by using Noninteractive method (given in README.htm file), then also getting same error.

We are unable to find out any process which is "Really" stopping this patch upgrade.

Please advice with your expert solutions to proceed further.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Ramesh.

Try to execute

isqlplusctl stop

and then rerun runInstaller to install the patch.
