Version Management

I am currently using SCM7.0 and have recently encountered an error with version management that one of you may have seen before.

Basically I am utilising the new SAP report /SAPAPO/VERSION_COPY_PAR to create a new non active version of a subset of master and transaction data. When executing in background mode the job details identify the deletion and creation parameters have completed successully, and when I validate the timeseries for my planning area, there is the expected timeseries for my non active planning version.

To summarise - active version - 000 and inactive version 001.

When I access my planning book using /SAPAP/SDP94, and then load the product location data with version 001 assigned, I receive the following error message:-

Version with GUID 001 does not exist

Message no. /SAPAPO/SNP010

can anyone advise on what this problem could be? When I investigate the existence of my planning version in transaction /SAPAPO/MVM it is there, as I have mentioned above the timeseries was created as expected and the timeseries consistency check was executed.

    Hi Paul,

    1) Perform /SAPAPO/CONSCHK - Model Consistency Check for the

inactive version and check any observations

    2) Delete and recreate the time series objects for simulation

    version and retry loading
