I have a requirement to update a form used for purchase order output. The form we use today is SAPScript it is moderately complex in the logic it uses. Is the effort required to convert the SAPScript to a Smartform significantly more than just updating the SAPScript? The changes are the addition of a couple static text descriptions and some dynamic text that will only print if the purchase order is for a specific plant value.
I would like to take this opportunity to migrate to smartforms but the consulting firm we are working with wants to just update the existing sapscript. I would appreciate the feedback of those with experience as to the difference between the level of effort for each solution.
