PI 7.1 Install Issues - Unable to establish connection to Adapter Engine

We have a brand new install of PI 7.1. But we are not able to connect to the adapter engine. In the RWB Adapter engine status:

Unable to establish connection to "https://<host>:50101/rtc"

the SLDCHECK also has error:

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS

Retrieving data from the SLD server...

Function call returned exception code 4

=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work

=> Check SLD function and configurations

By the way the technical system for the adapter engine is missing the SLD - Technical systems too.

Checked everything else like the PIAPPLUSER, the RFC dest LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI etc and they are fine.

Any idea?

Thank you Iffan. I will take a look at that setting. Does the system need to be restarted afer this?

No, if it's just initial config. But for changing PI work client it needs a restart.

Also note: there's no Visual admin any more for 710. So all the corresponding changes can be found in NWA, like Jco connections, SLD config, etc...

Did you run the initial config? As of PI 7.1, SLD is not automatically configured during the installation as it is in 700 release. You have to do an initial config for PI 7.1 in NWA:

http://<hostname>:5xx00/nwa --> Configuration Management --> Scenarios --> choose Initial configuration and start.
