In the Input help, Content next to '&' is not copied back to the UI

Hi All,

I have a problem with copying the content from input help back to the UI.When we choose the input field help and select one of the entries from the popup which has '&' character in its description, the number of the object appears in the field but description content which is next to '&' character is not getting copied until we either save the record or hit enter.

For Eg: If I have 001 - UNO BD & SYSTEM and 002 - INTERNAL R & D values in my input help.

1. When I select 001, the number is getting copied but the description copied is UNO BD.But If I hit Enter/Save, then it is displaying the whole description

2. When I select 002, the number is getting copied but the description copied is INTERNAL R.But If I hit Enter/Save, then it is displaying the whole description

Any inputs would be of great help.

The issue is resolved.Found the following SAP Notes which would resolve the issue.

1. 1334508 - F4 help value not set when it contains character "&"

2. 1340577 - F4 help value not set when it contains character "&" (2)
