Replication of Business Partners from ERP: Circle References

Dear experts,

when replicating business partners from ERP to C4C we came across the following situation:

In ERP debitor A and B are created. Debitor B is referenced in the partner function of debitor A, at the same time debitor A is referenced in debitor B.

When replicating both debitors to C4C via change pointer mechanism both debitors fail with (expected error):

"ID mapping for external value XYZ(XYZ is the Partner function ID) of ERP Customer Number missing"

How can this be solved in daily operations when there is a circle reference as none of the debitors can be processed first.

The problem of course does not happen during initial replication when partner functions are switched of during the first load.

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Dear Florian

This is the expected behavior of the C4C system, if the referenced Business Partner is not present in the C4C system, it will throw this error.

It is always recommended to replicate the referenced Business Partner prior to the replication of actual Business Partner.
