Attaching 'PROD' type material to network

Hi friends,

In our business scenario, we would like to attach materials having material type as 'PROD' (Product Group). These materials will be having material BOM. We do not want any procurement action on these materials (neither planned order nor PR) & hence MRP type of these materials is maintained as 'ND' (No Planning) in material master.

Presently system does not allow attaching of 'PROD' type material to network. Kindle suggest a solution for this.

While assgining the same system might be giving you some error / Information message . Share the same with Error no. & Detailed description.

Hi Nitin,

Error message given by system is 'Material has status P1' & the error No. is CO054.
