Revision dates are not getting copied to maintenance notification

Hi Experts,

Need your valuable input for below query related to Revision.

Here, Revision dates are not getting copied to notification start & end date.

Ex: If we creates a revision with t-code WPS1 for some dates like Revision start date & end date 20.12.2018 & 25.12.2018 respectively. Create a maintenance notification with required start date 14.12.2018 and save it.

Now assign above mentioned revision in to notification by t code IW22 or WPS1. As per revision functionality, on assignment of revision to notification. Revision start & end dates should get copied to notification required start date & end date. But it is not getting copied.

Yes, Revision type is set to W-WPS-controlled.

Thanks for your response. But this will not work. Here requirement is to create Revision with t-code- WPS1 not with t-code OIOB.

Can you check in DIWPSC4 if the revision type is set to "W-WPS-Controlled"?

I tried the following with succes:

1) TRX OIOB: create revision with appropriate dates.

2) IW21 Create notification

2.1) Enter revision key

2.2) Press enter --> dates changed to dates of revision parameters
