Vendor master - Payment Term creation

Hi All,

I need to create a Payment term with the below 4 explanations to be diaplayed at the bottom of the payment term

MF01-Special Payment Terms MF01

Payable in 3 partial amounts

1 installment: 50,000 % with payment term 0002

2 installment: 30,000 % with payment term 0004

3 installment: 20,000 % with payment term 0005

Please guide how to imput this wordings in the Explations field.

you can create payment terms at SPRO: MM > purchasing > vendor master > define terms for payment

Yes. correct. But What are the settings within that screen i need to do, to make that 4 lines to be displayed. Please explain in detail. Thanks.

Hi

If you want to pay money in installments, you cannot use payment terms for that. You need to use invoicing plan in SAP.

The invoicing plan facilitates the largely automatic creation and payment of invoices both for recurring procurement transactions such as rental or leasing payments and transactions involving settlement in stages (such as payment for the phases of a building project as they are completed).

See it in below config path

spro>MM>purchasing>purchase order>invoicing plan
