Hi everyone,
what data contains the table 7 (view for reporting) of an A-DSO?
chane log?
active data?
or join of something?
Thanks.
In this video (roughly at the end), the author mentions a performance difference when building Hana models (using the 6 or 7 table should be more performant than using the active table). I'm struggling to understand why it should be the case as I'm struggling to understand why these views allow a more "stable loading process" (as written in the Bhavin's post).

Hello Frédéric and Bhavin,

In order to ensure a stable implementation when changing the object type, two views named /BIC/ASAPBLOG6 (extraction) and /BIC/ASAPBLOG7 (reporting) are created in the course of activating the ADSO. These relate to the table with the respectively active data and/or the extract table. In this process, the views are automatically updated with a modification of the ADSO type and thus enable a stable loading process without side effects, also in case of adjustments of the model.
This is what I found from one of the link I searched.
Hope it helps!
Thanks,
Bhavin Vyas

Hi Wolfgang,
This is a curious view. Technically this is a view of the table /BIC/...1 (inbound table) with a few less fields. However, when you have a look at its content it reflects the content of the /BIC/A...3 table (active table).
I have no idea what is it used for (or what you can use it for).
Regards,
Frederic
